As a Material Handler , you will be responsible for transporting, staging, and managing materials throughout the facility to ensure production runs efficiently and accurately. Your attention to detail and ability to keep materials organized and available will directly support production schedules and operational success.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of related material handling, warehouse, or manufacturing experience .
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic math and computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office.
  • Efficient time management and the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 55 pounds and work safely in a production environment.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, distribute, and store materials, supplies, and finished products in designated locations.
  • Prepare and maintain records of materials received and shipped, including transaction dates and storage locations.
  • Review incoming shipments for quality and accuracy and verify documentation.
  • Confirm shipping details and special instructions to ensure timely delivery of materials needed for production.
  • Transport and load materials, supplies, and finished goods manually or using hand trucks and skids.
  • Stage materials for machines according to production schedules.
  • Resolve issues with vendors or contractors when material discrepancies arise.
  • Validate and forward invoices to the accounting department as required.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace by disposing of scrap materials such as cardboard, strapping, and bracing.
  • Support overall warehouse and production operations as needed.
