About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Material Manager to oversee our production control, inventory control, shipping, and receiving processes. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management of materials, maintaining quality standards, and leading a team to achieve functional objectives.

Responsibilities

• Administer and oversee production control and inventory management processes.
• Manage the shipping and receiving of materials, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Conduct thorough checks of parts and materials for damage; verify quantities, part numbers, and serial numbers of shipped items.
• Record and prepare detailed status reports on requested and received items to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Provide leadership and direction to team members, ensuring alignment with functional objectives and departmental goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement improvements as necessary to optimize material management processes.
