About The Position

Raytheon Field Engineering is seeking Material Management Specialists (MMS) to support Patriot depot operations from 90 days up to 12 months in Miesau, Germany. The scope of the depot operations is to inventory, test, repair, and refurbish Patriot equipment. The Material Management Specialist is responsible for the inventory and resolving any deficiencies reported during the inventory of all Major End Item's (MEIs) checkout during depot operations and System Integration and Check-Out (SICO). The Specialist is responsible for unpacking, inspecting, and inventorying all supplies and equipment. In addition, the Material Management Specialist is responsible for issuing, requisitioning and disposition of all replacement parts and tools and test equipment using the Automated Logistics Control System (ALCS). Responsible for the management of multiple disciplines within the supply chain process. Creates/reduces supply requirements based on inventory adjustments. Receives/reviews requirements for non-standard parts. Manages performance of purchase orders or subcontracts, complies with all public law requirements as well as company (and business) policies and procedures, import/export regulations, and employs sound business practice as well as assesses supplier performance as part of follow up activities. Ensures that appropriate documentation is provided to logistics organization so that proper receipt is recorded. Responsible for the receipt, delivery, inspection and/or test of incoming material, central stores/warehousing of program and/or company-acquired material and packaging and shipping services. Logistic / Material Specialist handles the receipt, storage, picking, and packaging of material at designated OCONUS sites. Candidates for this position will be on a Long-Term International Assignment (LTIA) in Miesau, Germany. This position is contingent on contract award.

Requirements

  • Experience with the Automated Logistics Control System (ALCS).
  • Ability to establish supply procedures in accordance with company policy in a remote location.
  • Conduct audits and review logbooks.
  • Ensure positive equipment calibration Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) status is maintained.
  • Plan requirements for stockage and control based on accumulation of demand data.
  • Control management of operational float stocks to ensure compliance with Army policy.
  • Inspect supported units to ensure supply performance standards are being achieved.
  • Provide technical guidance to personnel of supported units/activities.
  • Conduct periodic inventories of stockage supply items.
  • Develop standard operating procedures and perform administrative duties related to the supply activity.
  • Document all non-conformances.
  • Possess basic computer skills and have supply/maintenance experience.
  • Trained and certified to operate large vehicles and forklifts.
  • Familiarity with Army supply/maintenance procedures, shipping and receiving, warehousing, purchasing and load testing of support equipment.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity working in depot and production type environments.
  • Patriot Configuration III supply chain experience.
  • Ability to adapt and perform additional tasks with little or no supervision.
  • Familiarity with Raytheon supply chain/maintenance procedures and terminology.
  • Enhanced knowledge and experience with military logistics and supply chain systems.
  • Previous experience in International Patriot FMS Programs and living and working in an overseas location.
