Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness around all presses and compound holding areas.
• Move all compound materials between the staging area and designated presses.
• Monitor compound levels and only request compound when Gaylord reaches the low point.
• Communicate compound needs to the warehouse team clearly and in a timely manner.
• Sort recyclables into compactors and dispose of trash appropriately.
• Regularly sweep and vacuum around each press as messes are made.
• Keep areas around Gaylords and compound storage clear and safe.
• Remove excess flash, empty flash bins, and consolidate used Gaylords.
• Ensure hoppers/vacuum systems are filled with the correct, uncontaminated compound color.
• Avoid contamination of compounds with other materials (e.g., wood, dust, other colored compounds).
• Remove and store flash/scrap records in designated areas.
• Wrap and transport flash and scrap Gaylords to their proper storage locations.
• Assist maintenance teams during color changeovers: Follow directions for moving pallets and material staging for specific jobs or artists.
• Support leads and supervisors with additional materials tasks as needed.
