About The Position

This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor jobs in the Distribution Center while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Applicants will be considered for any Palletizing/Box Opening start type opening on any shift, such as day, evening or night shift as well as overtime and weekends if required. Applicants will be considered for openings in any department that may include, but are not limited to, shipping and receiving. Must accept work in a cold and damp environment with temperatures ranging from 28 to 42 degrees. Jobs are fast paced and require repetitive motion. Some positions require lifting, pushing and pulling up to 40+ lbs. Material Handling and Palletizing jobs require lifting 70+ lbs. Constant standing, walking and lifting.

Requirements

• Must provide proof of authorization to work legally within the U.S.
• Must pass a urinalysis screening as part of a post-offer health assessment
• Rehire candidates must be 180 days past last termination date with a maximum of 2 rehire opportunities
