About The Position

Introduction to the job As the Material Handling Team Lead , you will lead a team of material handlers in executing the day to day activities in the San Diego EUV Factory . This includes any inbound and outbound activities from the factory, as well as all cleanroom logistics . This position reports to the Factory Logistics Manager. Role and responsibilities Lead a team of material handlers in the San Diego Factory Ensures material flow to avoid zero bin s and escalates appropriately Monitors, approves, and tracks employee attendance and time off Reports on status and metrics to the team and/or department manager Ensures team is fully trained and qualified to work in the area assigned Creates, updates, and reviews work instructions related to processes Secures labor capacity at sufficient levels to support manufacturing build requirements Appropriately explains and influences various stakeholders, which includes other leaders and managers Supervis es the work and various activities of more than 1 0 employees May become actively involved in the daily activities as to meet schedules or resolve issues Check compliance to procedures and guidelines regarding quality, safety and health across areas and teams, not limited within own area / team, register performed checks and submit (defect) reports where necessary and/or take action in order to comply. Encourages safety mindset and acts as role model to others in regard to health and safety and holds others accountable. Follow the organization's HS&E policies, procedures and mandatory instructions to identify and mitigate risks, and to safeguard the environment and the wellbeing of oneself and others. Direct and drive the realization of planned results and operational KPIs for the own team, able to leverage understanding of the department, to optimize factory operations beyond own and natural team. Provide insights based on analyses, trends, issues, etc. on operational and team performance towards tiers and management structures. Cascade operational targets into year plans, including resource requirements. Drive realization of year plan within timing and budget constraints. Manage and acquire approval for planned deviations. Other duties as assigned The likely shift is 12hr, Thurs-Sat and every other Wednesday

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in supply chain / logistics , industrial engineering, or business administration or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant logistics work experience; of which a minimum of 2 years of leading teams directly or indirectly
  • Experience in a high-tech, low-volume environment
  • Proficiency with MRP software (SAP) is a plus
  • Experience in creating and presenting effective PowerPoint presentations to management
  • Substantial experience of planning and managing operational activities to deliver predetermined objectives as specified by more senior managers.

  • This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
