Requirements

Responsibilities

• Move material around the plant with a large crane.
• Assist with shipping duties and rail movements in a timely and safe manner.
• Start out in banding and packaging coiled steel.
• Handle physical, repetitive work and stand for 12 hours a day.
• Operate banding tools and read a tape measure.
• Handle small parts and follow quality policies and procedures.
• Recognize quality issues and detect defects.
• Read, comprehend, and follow detailed production instructions.
• Distinguish between part numbers and sizes accurately.
• Count and label parts accurately.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate good safety awareness and efficiency skills.
• Communicate effectively in oral and written forms.
