About The Position

As a Sr. Material Handling Maintenance Technician III at CBRE, you will be responsible for the installation, preventive maintenance, and corrective repair of automated packing and distribution equipment. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient movement and storage of materials within the facility, contributing to the overall operational success.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2-3 years of job-related experience, or a combination of experience and education.
• Experience with automated conveyor systems and controls, and preventive maintenance procedures.
• Familiarity with PLC programs and the National Electric Code (NEC).
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics, and knowledge of electrical and electronic principles.
• Physical ability to meet the demands of the role, including lifting heavy loads of 50 lbs or more.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Intermediate math skills for calculations related to the job.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with work order management systems.
• Knowledge of industrial electrical controls.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, and control components such as photo eyes, motor starters, and sensors.
• Troubleshoot PLC programs using ladder logic and manage communications modules.
• Maintain and troubleshoot power distribution systems and wiring methods up to 480V.
• Create and close work orders in the asset management system, documenting labor hours and parts used.
• Develop work plans for emergency repairs of critical assets, coordinating with operations and scheduling repairs.
• Model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values and impact the quality of work.
