MATERIAL HANDLING LEAD
About The Position
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Ensures equipment being utilized is being properly maintain, handhelds and forklifts. Must be able to follow through on all tasks and projects with limited supervision as well as keep the supervisor regularly informed. Knowledge of K&N’s Business Management System (BMS) and K&N products, preferred. Ability to become K&N forklift certified. Assist supervisor with staff Maintain the integrity of products through proper handling and storage Maintain accurate inventories Ensure safe operation of forklifts Ensure facility maintenance through housekeeping, keeping product and facility secure, and maintaining the assets of the facility. Provides assistance to other work areas whenever needed, internal and external.
Requirements
- Leadership and an understanding of management principles.
- Understanding of inventory management, pick/put efficiency
- Understanding of general work practices in warehousing and distribution.
- Understanding of basic efficiency measures.
- Ability to demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.
Nice To Haves
