The Material Handling Laborer at V2X is responsible for performing physical tasks related to the transportation and storage of Organizational Clothing and Individual Equipment (OCIE) at the Fort Liberty Central Issue Facility (CIF). This role involves operating machinery, assisting in inventory management, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations while working in a dynamic environment.

  • Load and unload material from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and production areas.
  • Store cargo in assigned locations using Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
  • Assist in inventory by identifying, cataloging, and recording the counts and location of inventory.
  • Record the number of units handled and moved every day using production sheets.
  • Operate various machinery including pallet jacks, carts, weight scales, and banding equipment to handle materials and inventory.
  • Analyze pick sheets based on request orders and pull the appropriate products for each order.
  • Track supply levels and regularly submit replenishment recommendations.
  • Unpack, shelve, or place items in appropriate storage locations.
  • Comply with all safety and health regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet organizational/operational objectives.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid State Driver's License with no restrictions.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).
  • Proof of U.S. Citizenship, such as a birth certificate or a U.S. Passport.
  • Ability to maintain driving privileges aboard the Fort Liberty Installation.
  • Pass a standard background check.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Possess high ethical standards and demonstrate professionalism.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team-based, highly collaborative environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills; ability to interact at all levels.
