Material Handling Engineer
About The Position
Our client, a respected Engineering & Design firm, is seeking a Material Handling Engineer to support mining-related projects in their Centerville, Utah office. This is a hybrid contract role, with an initial term of at least 6 months, and strong potential for extension. About the Role: You'll work on the design and engineering of complex material handling systems for mining operations. This includes everything from conveyor and crusher design to dust collection systems. If you have a strong foundation in mechanical/material handling design-especially in mining-you'll hit the ground running.
Requirements
- Strong foundation in mechanical/material handling design
- Strong knowledge of material handling equipment
- Ability to work independently and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
Nice To Haves
- Background in mining or heavy industrial engineering projects
- Experience with gold mining operations
Responsibilities
- Engineering of various conveyors, including radial stackers, feed and transfer conveyors
- Layouts for screeners, vibrating grizzly feeders, and hoppers
