About The Position

This position is responsible to diagnose issues, adjust, repair, and perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment while complying with Department of Transportation rules and regulations, maintaining a safe work environment, and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Any other duties assigned by Supervisor. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Under general supervision, the Maintenance Technician will perform a wide variety of semi-skilled and skilled tasks associated with maintenance, troubleshooting, HVAC, Motor Repairs, Welding, Machine repair and modification to the plants mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and plumbing systems and equipment. Applicant with experience in any of these skills and or related fields is preferred. Specific tasks will depend upon area of assignment and skill level.

Requirements

• Minimum of one (1) year of relevant maintenance experience.
• Ability to work in cold, damp, or hot and humid environments.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stretch, climb, push, pull, and reach.
• Ability to lift weights as required in various areas.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in HVAC, Motor Repairs, Welding, Machine repair.
• Experience in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and plumbing systems.
