As a Material Handler at Uline, you will play a crucial role in our warehouse operations, working independently to compile and ship orders efficiently. This position is designed for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, organized, and positive environment. You will have the opportunity to progress in your warehouse career, taking on increasingly independent and advanced roles. A key aspect of this role is the ability to operate various pieces of industrial equipment, including forklifts, for which you will receive certification. Your contributions will directly impact our industry-leading warehouse safety record, ensuring that all operations are conducted safely and effectively. The Material Handler position requires a commitment to working full-time, with hours from Monday to Friday, 10:30 AM to 7 PM. You will be responsible for lifting, pushing, and sliding packages that typically weigh up to 50 lbs, with some packages weighing as much as 70 lbs. Attention to detail and strong time management skills are essential for success in this role, as you will be expected to maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency in your work. Reporting to the Warehouse Management Team, you will be an integral part of our operations, contributing to the overall success of Uline as North America's leading distributor of shipping, industrial, and packaging materials.
