The core responsibilities of this role include accurately labeling, sorting, and storing materials in designated warehouse locations, picking and packing customer orders efficiently and accurately, lifting materials or products by hand, up to 30 lbs, safely operating pallet jacks and other material handling equipment, and loading and unloading shipments safely and efficiently using pallet jacks or similar equipment. Position: Material Handler Shift: 2:30pm - 10:30pm, Monday-Friday Pay: $18.25 per hour Additional Incentives: All full-time employees are eligible to qualify for monthly performance and safety incentive rewards!

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
  • Six months warehouse experience, preferred
  • Six months forklift operation experience, preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time, as this position requires standing for the majority of the shift (excluding breaks).
  • Flexibility and willingness to work across multiple departments as needed. Training will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately labeling, sorting, and storing materials in designated warehouse locations.
  • Picking and packing customer orders efficiently and accurately.
  • Lifting materials or products by hand, up to 30 lbs.
  • Safely operating pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
  • Loading and unloading shipments safely and efficiently using pallet jacks or similar equipment.
  • Physically load product onto equipment, pallets or totes more than 20% of specified shift.
  • Put-away and pick product for shipment or stock.
  • Ensure the exact number and type of products, ordered by the customer, are checked and loaded correctly.
  • Compare the quantity, quality, labeling, and address with the customer's order to ensure outgoing product shipments are complete and correct.
  • Change equipment battery or LP tank and monitor power source as necessary.
  • Verify and report discrepancies such as non-available products and OS&D.
  • Maintain the facility and the facility's equipment in a neat, clean, orderly fashion.
  • Inspect all operated equipment daily.
  • Complete daily inspection of equipment.
  • Assist in physical inventories.
