About The Position

TRIGO Global Quality Solutions has one immediate opening for Material Handler in Chillicothe, IL. This position pays $16.50 - $18.00 per hour. Hours for this position are 6:30AM - 3:00PM. The overall purpose of this role is to ensure quality services and support for all missions assigned to their site.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of materials and production processes.
• Basic knowledge of quality control methods.
• Previous material handling experience preferred.
• Proficiency in English.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate, prioritize and multitask.
• Demonstrated flexibility within a fast-paced, challenging environment.
• Ability to take initiative and recognize needs.
• Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential material.
• Ability to lift/move 30 pounds.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Act as an impartial third party between the production source and the customer facility to ensure the product meets set criteria.
• Sort material as needed.
• Accurately and legibly fill out paperwork daily.
• Perform record- and time keeping activities as required.
• Complete damaged goods reports and/or accident reports as required.
• Use power- and hand tools typically found in a warehouse environment.
• Check parts for non-conformance per work instructions and/or criteria.
• Make pass/fail decisions on non-conformance items.
• Use powered industrial trucks and pallet jacks to move material within the work area.
• Communicate sort/inspection results to managers, supervisors and production source.
• Complete other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned.
