The Material Handler at Helmer Scientific is responsible for managing inventory and ensuring the smooth operation of material handling processes within the warehouse. This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement, contributing to the overall efficiency of production operations.

Promote Helmer values through personal productivity and quality of work.
Comply with workplace safety procedures.
Maintain inventory identification and locations.
Correct and transfer items in the MRP system.
Label and move received items to assigned inventory locations.
Label and move rejected items to the non-conforming area in receiving.
Use restocking list or respond to production requests to deliver items to the production line.
Inspect products to ensure correctness before delivery to production.
Maintain open communication with team members.
Assist other team members as needed.
Complete material/inventory investigations for accurate representation.
Maintain and complete Standard Work and documentation to track task accomplishment.

1-3 years related experience preferred.
High school diploma or GED required.
Valid driver's license required.
Experience with MRP/ERP systems (Fourthshift preferred).
Data entry and computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word) required.
Must successfully complete Helmer Forklift training.
