About The Position

The Material Handler at Marathon Ventures Inc is responsible for operating forklifts and pallet jacks to move products within the production floor and warehouse. This role requires physical movement of materials, accurate documentation, and inventory control to ensure efficient production processes.

Requirements

• Certified Forklift Drivers - current license preferred
• Good communication skills
• Fast learner with the ability to cross-train
• Self-motivated, reliable, and punctual
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift as per operation guidelines to include safety procedures and guidelines.
• Operate electric and manual pallet jacks safely.
• Move product into and around the production floor and warehouse.
• Perform physical movement of materials.
• Complete the required paperwork.
• Enter product movements in a handheld device.
• Ability to handle boxes containing allergens.
• Utilize safe and proper lifting techniques.
• Stage product before production at either location to ensure timely production start-up.
• Inventory control, read and understand lot numbers and code dates.
• Record and maintain accurate data on current inventory as necessary.
• Ensure all paperwork is completed in an accurate and timely manner.
• Ensure documentation complies with Company standards.
