About the position

Stier Supply Company, a prominent player in the manufacturing and distribution industry, is currently seeking motivated individuals to join our Warehouse team at our Distribution Center. Join us in ensuring the efficient flow of materials and helps maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse. As a material handler, you will be responsible for the continued replenishment of all products and material within their allotted bays and bin locations. This positions helps by maintaining inventory accuracy, adapts to shifting priorities, and upholds all safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Transfer materials from staging areas to secondary and primary locations.
  • Conduct all cycle counts according to the defined schedule.
  • Implement and maintain a visual warehouse by labeling locations and recording load locations in BisTrack.
  • Segregate materials based on specified criteria.
  • Work closely with production areas to determine and execute necessary stock adjustments daily.
  • Adapt to operational needs, including unloading and picking materials as required.
  • Uphold safety standards by following all safety policies and guidelines.

Requirements

  • Forklift certification.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain focus during repetitive tasks.
  • Function well within a team and communicate effectively.
  • Maintain a history of reliable work attendance.
  • Prioritize a clean and safe work environment and adhere to all posted safety guidelines.
  • Capability to repetitively lift 75 lbs.
  • Experience with operating a forklift, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor conditions, including various weather conditions.
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry materials for extended periods.
  • Capability to push and pull carts as needed.
  • Strong time management and multitasking skills with an eye for detail.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening, background check, and health and physical evaluation.
