Design Mechanical – a Comfort Systems USA Company – Colorado In Colorado we have two locations – Our corporate offices and state of the art fabrication shop in Louisville, and for our mountain region we have a shop in Breckenridge. Combined we’re nearly 300 employees and growing. As a wholly owned subsidiary of Comfort Systems USA, a $3 billion company, we have a local company feel with the backing of one of the largest mechanical contractors in the country. Job Title Laborer – Material Handler Location: Louisville, CO Reports to: Site Foreman/Labor Manager Overview: The Laborer – Material Handler ensures the Safety of those we work with and around, the Quality of the services we provide and the realization of our Profitability goals as it specifically relates to Cleanliness and Organization of Material on our job sites.

Requirements

Must be 18+
It’s important to have reliable transportation and report to work on time, every day
Required to operate company equipment such as hand truck, hoists, lifts, etc.
Excellent communication skills – verbal and written communication
Ability to adapt to change, solve problems and be accountable for decisions
Very organized and detail oriented

Responsibilities

Safety management to ensure ZERO INCIDENTS within all areas of the company
Demonstrate the Company’s Core Values individually and departmentally
Maintain consistent housekeeping on the job site. To include, trash removal, sweeping, gathering, and cleaning of tools, supplies, and materials
Assist with job site deliveries: unload equipment and supplies and ensure deliveries are securely stored in the proper area. Notify Site Foreman of any damaged or defective materials
Material organization as the job unfolds, ensure install teams are supplied with what they need for the day
Assist with job site gang box inventory of DMI tools and notify Site Foreman of any changes to the inventory
Additional duties as assigned by Site Foreman/Labor Manager
