About The Position

At Verdant Specialty Solutions, we’re not just producing specialty chemicals — we’re building a safe, disciplined, and reliable operation that supports customers and communities every day. We are seeking a Material Handler to join our Warehouse/Logistics team in Liberty, TX. This is a full-time, entry-level role supporting the safe handling, storage, and shipment of specialty chemicals in both packaged and bulk containers. This position plays a critical role in materials management and helps ensure our products move safely and efficiently through the supply chain while meeting regulatory, quality, and safety standards.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Forklift truck operation experience required
  • Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team and support cross-training efforts
  • Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple responsibilities with competing priorities
  • Strong mathematical, problem-solving, and basic computer skills
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, background check, and physical

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of experience in a processing or general batching environment preferred

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate forklift trucks and other material-handling equipment
  • Calculate weights and measures related to warehousing, receiving, and shipping activities
  • Safely load and unload bulk trucks
  • Safely load and unload non-bulk and packaged trucks
  • Select and stage finished product accurately for shipment
  • Select and prepare raw materials and containers for production
  • Secure packages to pallets using banding equipment and proper order preparation techniques
  • Apply basic labeling requirements and support DOT packaging standards
  • Document completed work and pre-shipment inspection observations clearly and accurately
  • Interpret written and verbal instructions related to work tasks and safety procedures
  • Complete computer-based training and perform limited ERP transactions for receiving and shipping
  • Read, understand, and follow all safety rules, company policies, procedures, and work instructions
  • Understand and comply with work permit requirements
  • Perform housekeeping duties to maintain compliance with operating permits
  • Use prescribed personal protective equipment for all tasks
  • Recognize and report incidents and accidents appropriately
  • Perform annual and periodic inventory cycle counts
  • Support Quality Management System requirements aligned with ISO 9001:2015
  • Support HSSE Management System requirements aligned with ACC RCMS or RC-14001 standards
