Requirements

HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US)
Must have a good attendance record
Must have strong communication skills
Must be able to work from heights – up to 60’
Must be able to wear a respirator
Must have strong mechanical aptitude
The position requires ascending, descending stairs, standing for extended periods, bending, squatting, twisting, overhead reach, and lifting up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

Perform PIV and equipment walk around inspections
Use various PIV’s to accomplish job functions
Perform various duties to support each department’s needs; (picking up scrap material for reclamation, delivering supplies, packaging materials for shipment)
May be required to carry out tasks not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this position in support of department objectives and to develop one’s skills
Adhere to CORE guidelines and perform CORE duties as required
Adhere to all EH & S guidelines, including wearing of required personal protective equipment
Must obtain a license to operate PIV’s
Communication skills with other departments for inbound and outbound material
