Material Handler-Full Time
About The Position
Full-time, permanent opening available now. Warehouse Material Handler This position is Monday through Friday with a start time of 6:00 am until 4:00 pm with some required overtime on Saturday. Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour / Overtime $24.75 per hour Position Summary As a Material Handler based at our fast-paced facility in Kissimmee, you will be accountable for working within a team to unload and load trailers, sort and count boots according to size and style, picking and packing orders, wrap and stage orders in designated area preparing for pickup. Must also be able to stack and store the product in the appropriate areas.
Requirements
- Ability to stay on your feet for your entire shift and walk around our 30,000 sq. ft. warehouse
- This is a physically demanding, fast-paced position that requires attention to detail, reliability, and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
- Ability to be dependable, flexible, and reliable
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Experience with electric and manual jacks and handheld scanners
- Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
- Recent experience (within past 6 months ) in high endurance or highly physical activity or role preferred
- WORK IN A SAFE MANNER 100% OF THE TIME AND FOLLOW ALL SAFETY RULES & REGULATIONS
- Position available immediately. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Previous experience packing and receiving preferred
- Must have the ability to follow safe warehouse working practices, as instructed
- Must have the ability to efficiently work independent of direct supervision within the warehouse.
- Other warehouse duties and special projects as requested.
- Must maintain good attendance.
- Maintain safe work practices in the warehouse.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well on a Team but be Self-Motivated.
- Essential Physical Requirements: (bending, reaching, and standing/walking for the entire shift)
- Ability to read, count and write to accurately complete all documentation.
- Ability to freely access all areas of the warehouse.
- Ability to move or handle merchandise throughout the warehouse area, generally weighing 0 - 75 pounds.
- Agrees to unannounced periodic drug testing.
