Now Hiring: Inserting Inventory Material Handler Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour Employment Type: Temp to Perm Shift: 2nd Shift , 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Keep Operations Moving, Accuracy Matters Here: This is a strong opportunity for a detail-oriented material handling professional who takes pride in organization, accuracy, and efficiency. In this role, you will be a critical link between inventory flow and production execution, ensuring materials are correctly staged, labeled, and delivered so work orders stay on track. If you enjoy structured processes, light physical work, and a fast-paced production environment, this role offers stability with a clear path to permanent employment. Position Overview: The Inserting Inventory Material Handler is responsible for maintaining organized floor inventory so materials can be quickly and accurately added to work order carts. Precision is essential, selecting the correct envelopes and inserts directly impacts production quality and plant performance. This role also coordinates inventory movement from the warehouse to the production floor using powered equipment.

Responsibilities

• Floor Inventory Organization Maintain clean, orderly, and debris-free inventory areas.
• Ensure shelf spaces are properly labeled and consistently maintained.
• Verify all boxes are labeled with the correct inventory codes.
• Inventory Ordering and Tracking Review work orders or requisitions carefully for accuracy.
• Order correct stock through inventory management systems.
• Document order urgency, timing, and delivery completion.
• Follow inventory orders through to final delivery on the floor.
• Work Order Cart Preparation Read work orders carefully to ensure accuracy.
• Select the correct envelopes and inserts for each order.
• Pull correct quantities plus an additional five percent.
• Use count scales for larger orders to verify quantities.
• Confirm accuracy before materials are staged to carts.
• Material Movement and Equipment Operation Operate powered equipment safely and maintain required certification.
• Deliver inventory from the warehouse to the production floor.
• Return unused inventory back to warehouse locations.
• Track timing, urgency, and completion of material movements.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to support operations.
