The Material Handler – Warehouse Inventory position provides inventory, administrative, and material handling support to the Warehouse Operations for inbound deliveries and claims, dunnage reports, disposing of beer, quality holds and quality samples, support to employee beer sales and employee events while performing inventory transactions in SAP to account for product changes.

Requirements

  • Highschool education or equivalent required
  • Fork truck license
  • Knowledge in MS Office
  • Knowledge in SAP
  • Strong capabilities in accuracy of record keeping and data entry.
  • Familiarity with KCRs.
  • 3+ years of manufacturing or warehouse experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and make decisions in a team-based setting.
  • Ability to work full-time, all shifts, all schedules, and all days of the week to include weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to be called in for emergency coverage and work overtime as necessary.
  • Ability to sit, stand, climb, stoop, kneel, pull, or crouch. Must be able to lift or move items up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all dump‑beer activities including stacking, wrapping, counting, transferring, and ensuring all destruction‑related inventory updates are accurately recorded in SAP.
  • Reconcile counts with outside contractors to ensure accurate billing and maintain a clean, safe, and organized dump area.
  • Partner with Finance to support monthly destruction forecasting and maintain accuracy in inventory removal.
  • Maintain and update Quality Hold logs, ensuring all product status information is accurate and accessible.
  • Move, release, block, or destroy product based on Quality Department disposition, ensuring timely support for shipment needs.
  • Coordinate sort activities by communicating with Quality, Production, and Operations teams, tracking pallets through the full sort process until release or destruction.
  • Coordinate movement of inventory released for Employee Beer Sales and maintain accurate SAP counts.
  • Manage product rotation to minimize waste and maintain a well‑stocked, organized sales trailer and storage area.
  • Monitor aging inventory and notify leadership when quantities approach expiration timelines.
  • Prepare and process deliveries for Employee Sales multiple times per week.
  • Pull and transport beer inventory for lab sampling and update SAP to reflect removed cases.
  • Prepare sample shipments for vendors or other brewery sites as needed.
  • Fulfill Pub beer orders by staging product, coordinating with contractors for delivery, and updating inventory records.
  • Collect and organize daily delivery documents, including bills of lading and green cards.
  • Research and resolve inbound dunnage claims, create mini‑returns, and maintain accurate tracking sheets for discrepancies.
  • Manage documentation storage and ensure necessary tags and forms are available for warehouse operations.
