About The Position

MAJOR FUNCTION The Material Handler's primary job function is to supply the internal and external customer with parts and machines. Picking service parts and maintaining accuracy at all times of quantity, qualify and service levels. Packing parts and maintaining accuracy at all times of quantity, quality and service levels. The Material Handler is responsible to ensure accuracy of parts pulled and packed, according to the customer’s order. Requirements

  • High school diploma for general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • May pick parts from heightened areas.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods at a time.
  • Must be able to climb stairs.
  • Must be able to read and write and speak English effectively.
  • Must be able to work unexpected overtime, as well as scheduled overtime.
  • Will be working against a standard rate.
  • Must be able to work from a 5 a.m. start time.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more.
  • Prior forklift driving experience preferred, if no experience must be willing to learn.
  • Must be able to certify and pass forklift testing.
  • Must be able to work in Bentonville, AR location.
  • Ability to use computer and scan guns when necessary to look up locations, part quantities on hand, etc.
