About The Position

We are seeking safety minded team members with an attention to detail for a 2nd shift (3P - 11P)Material Handler opportunity in Montoursville, PA. The Material Handler position supports the business through smooth movement of finished goods from the manufacturing floor and ensuring the production floor is supported with needed material to run efficiently.

Requirements

• Ability to understand basic written and oral instructions, and perform basic math.
• Ability to communicate with management and coworkers in order to meet departmental goals.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior manufacturing or warehouse experience required - 6 months
• Must obtain Unique Industries Walking Stacker Certification
• Must have ability to frequently stand, walk and use repetitive hand motions
• Must have ability to occasionally sit, reach, reach overhead, climb, balance, stoop, kneel or crouch
• Must have ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Request boxes/skids when needed on production floor.
• Change tape and adjust tapers.
• Make gaylords for production use
• Quality assurance check of each skid of finished product.
• Preparing each skid of finished product for shipping.
• Maintain and enter production data at the end of designated shift.
• Wrapping skids and preparing for shipping.
• Using a hand jack to remove finished skids of product from the packaging area.
• Assisting in any manner as needed to enhance work flow in the department.
