About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Material Handler to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced distribution center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and effective handling of materials, ensuring that products are accurately loaded, unloaded, and organized within the warehouse. This role requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to operate various types of equipment while adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with operating pallet jacks, clamp trucks, cherry pickers, and order pickers is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse management systems is a plus.
• Must adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols at all times.

Responsibilities

• Operate pallet jacks, clamp trucks, cherry pickers, and order pickers to move materials throughout the warehouse.
• Load and unload products from delivery trucks and containers with care to prevent damage.
• Utilize a warehouse management system to track inventory levels and manage order picking processes.
• Ensure accurate order picking by following specified instructions and verifying items against orders.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
• Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.
