Eaton’s IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Material Handler - Night Shift. The rate range for this position is $20.58 - $22.69 per hour with with scheduled pay increases at 6 months and 1 year of service. The core hours for this role are Monday through Friday from 11:00 pm until 7:30 am. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Eaton announced, on January 26, 2026, the intent to separate its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) into an independent, publicly traded company. We expect to complete the separation by the end of the first quarter of 2027. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the spinoff closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time. What you’ll do: Operate forklifts, lifting aids, and overhead hoists to safely move, stage, load, and unload materials, including truck deliveries, while ensuring accurate flow and distribution for the Clutch or Manufacturing departments. Validate part quantities and material accuracy; escalate discrepancies and report unusual conditions, safety issues, or defective materials. Support changeovers by coordinating with Operators/Leads and preparing required materials in advance. Use FCS, Oracle, and WMS systems to maintain accurate inventory and manufacturing data; submit help desk tickets for related IT issues. Maintain 100% transactional accuracy under time constraints and complete required forklift safety audits and maintenance documentation each shift. Follow all safety, quality, environmental, and standard work procedures, including Eaton’s Quality Systems (QS 9000, TS 16949, CQI‑9) and ISO 14000 requirements. Contribute to a safe, clean, and organized work environment through housekeeping and 5S participation. Collaborate with team members to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals, supporting continuous improvement and departmental objectives. Provide cross‑training support and cover peer absences, including service packer duties; assist in training new employees. Work scheduled overtime as needed, including weekends and holidays.
