Summary- Transports material to and from manufacturing departments at point of use locations. Receives, stores, and issues materials. Transports tools, equipment, and products within the organization. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Under general supervision, must be able to perform a variety of job duties including, but not limited to: • Unloads materials from department manufacturing areas and places in specified plant locations. • Delivers materials to point of use locations per manufacturing flow instructions. • Support deployment and sustainment of Kanban systems. • Issues parts to work orders according to pick lists. • Receives and stores parts from work orders and purchase orders to stock. • Retrieves and transports materials for loading and unloading to trucks and/or departments as required. • Moves parts which include performing weight counts; updating material identification tags. • Assists in maintaining inventory control (e.g. performing cycle counts and physical inventory) • Drives and maintains preventative maintenance on fork lifts, vehicles, and industrial tuggers. • Follow all Senior policies and procedures • Other duties as assigned.
