Requirements

Formally trained in the principles and methodology of Lean Enterprise. One (1) year of experience in a lean warehouse environment is preferred.
Ability to work well with others
Ability to interpret written instructions and specifications
Good mathematical aptitude
Flexibility to effectively adapt to changing conditions and job assignments
Basic product knowledge
Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and routines related to customer deliveries
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Must be able to attain and maintain a forklift license

Responsibilities

Accurately pull and package materials for delivery to shipping, assembly, and manufacturing
Adhere to all packaging requirements
Operate a forklift and order picker at heights up to 35'
Stock merchandise and place it into proper storage locations
Housekeep and maintain a safe work environment
Assist in prioritizing incoming and outgoing material
Responsible for inventory control and Kanban level accuracy
Lift and move heavy objects
Communicate to the crew leader or supervisor any problems
Perform other duties as assigned by the crew leader or supervisor
