About The Position

The Material Handler position at Fortune Brands Innovations, Inc. involves maintaining inventory, including labeling, stocking, and recording material locations. Responsibilities also include locating and verifying materials for production orders, distributing and tracking materials, and operating equipment such as pallet jacks and stand-up/sit-down forklifts. The role requires loading and unloading trucks, handling boxes up to 60 lbs. Requirements

  • Must be able to record keep location of inventory
  • Must be accountable for material/supplies distribution and be able to track material locations
  • Needs to be certified to operate pallet jack and stand up/sit down forklift
  • Have a positive can-do attitude every day
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Must be able to multitask
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written or oral form is required
  • Ability to understand safety requirements and cautions

  • Experience in manufacturing or related field is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Maintain inventory identifiable by labeling and placing material and supplies in stock
  • Record keep location of inventory
  • Locate material and supplies by pulling and verifying material and supplies list on production order
  • Be accountable for material/supplies distribution
  • Track material locations
  • Operate pallet jack and stand up/sit down forklift
  • Load and unload materials and merchandise from trucks (boxes may way up to 60 lbs)
