About The Position

Responsible for parts warehouse organization and correct ERP inventory including incoming and work in process materials. Supply all materials needed for production areas for on time build.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
1+ years relevant experience in production material handing
1+ years sitting and standing forklift experience and ability to obtain a license.
Ability to multi-task with frequent interruptions.
In-depth knowledge of the ERP system.
Strong understanding of the overall product flow within the operation.
Extensive knowledge of individual parts and warehouse locations.
Good communication skills (verbal and written).
Ability to work regular schedules set forth by the Management team.
Must be a strong team player.

Responsibilities

Understands the upcoming production requirements and priorities.
Prints the overall dispatch list and the individual order picks lists and highlights any obvious shortages.
Communicates shortages to supervisors by providing documentation of open shop orders requiring completion or open POs to be supplied to planners.
Verify and put away all incoming materials to the proper location in the Warehouse and complete location transfer in the ERP system.
Physically picks all parts required for each job and transacts any material movement in the ERP system using scanners, computers, or other devices.
Pull, kit and stage all parts to the specified production area.
Performs any scrap transactions in ERP system to maintain inventory accuracy.
Continued follow-up with supply departments regarding required shop orders and their completion.
Coordinates with Production Planning on timing of PO receipts.
Communicates shortages to Team Leaders and Supervisors.
Other duties as assigned.
