Holman Upfitting has a great opportunity for a Material Handler to join our team in Ft. Worth, TX. Starting pay: $20.00 per hour Hours: 6:00am - 2:30pm Benefits include health, dental, vision, tuition reimbursement, paid time off and more Eligible for benefits within 30 days of employment

Requirements

  • Basic computers skills.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Must pass a physical and criminal background check prior to employment.
  • Must be able to work in multiple environments – shop, outside in all types of weather conditions as well as in an office.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience or forklift certifications in warehouse / materials environment desired.
  • Experience with wireless inventory system is desired.
  • Experience with UPS or FedEx shipments is desired.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain inventories of all inventoried items (controlled and/or non-controlled).
  • Assist and participate in conducting cycle counts.
  • Properly position bar coding on all incoming parts and equipment.
  • Allocate required parts to job/work orders and complete requisitions for parts shortages.
  • Maintain mechanics materials and orders based on pick sheets.
  • Pull and stage parts for job/work orders.
  • Receive packing slips and verify quantities for parts against purchase orders.
  • Responsible for the shipment of parts to customers.
  • Collect and properly package inventory and purchased items needing shipment.
  • Properly check-in and move vehicles delivered.
  • Possess an understanding and exercise extreme care during the operation and movement of large parts while using the company lifting systems.
  • Inform and communicate suggestions and errors to relevant departments for continuous improvement of the installation process.
  • Must comply with the company’s safety policies and clean initiative standards.
  • Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.
