Requirements

Ability to lift up to 55 pounds of weight
Ability to read and understand spec sheets
Willingness to learn other line jobs to serve as utility person for breaks and lunch
Must be able to operate a tow motor
Must be able to do end of the day Scrap Reports
Standing, walking and lifting for an 10 hour shift

Responsibilities

Maintain clean and safe working environment in line with company policies
Move material and other various material handling duties in the facility
Manually loads raw material and/or finished product on skid or hand truck
Stack skids or pallets in designated areas. Cleans up and disposes of scrap bracing.
Use tools such as hammers and crowbars to remove strapping, open crates, strap cars
Ability to work in other areas of the plant
Responsible for checking tags on product
Report problems or issues to group lead
May assist in placement of full and empty oil drums
Utility person on the line in assembly department
Assist inventory
To manually, by hand truck or by forklift and pallet jack move materials, supplies and finished goods to designated places in the facility or onto trucks.
