Partners Personnel has immediate openings for Material Handlers in a thriving facility in Wright City, MO. Job Title: Material Handler Pay Rate: Starting pay $19.50 per hour, with shift differential pay Schedule: Monday - Friday 1st shift – 6am- 4:30pm 2nd shift – 4pm- 2:30am Job Duties/ Responsibilities: Load, unload, and move materials within or near the plant, yard, or worksite. Read work orders or follow oral instructions to determine materials or containers to be moved. Open containers using steel cutters, crowbar, claw hammer, or other hand tools. Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand. Convey materials to or from storage or work sites to designated areas using hand trucks, electric wheelbarrows, or other devices. Secure lifting attachments to materials and convey load to destination using hand-operated crane or hoist. Clean work areas, machines, and equipment using brooms, rags, and cleaning compounds. Assist machine operators and make simple adjustments or repairs such as realigning belts or replacing rollers. Create crates to contain products such as machines or vehicles using hand tools and pre-cut lumber. Other job duties as assigned.
