Material Handler - Receiving - Day Shift
About The Position
Essential Duties and Responsibilities – Other duties may be assigned. • May remove shipped materials from delivery vehicles • Examine documents for storage destination • Pull stored materials and move to production or shipping area • Document information relating to part numbers, counts, storage locations • May package materials • Inventory counts • Work with direct supervision • Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs • Proficient in pulling and distributing of parts Working at a computer, entering and checking information in a computer system • Completing daily tasked quickly, efficiently and adhering to Quality and Safety standards
Requirements
- Ability to understand and adhere to company safety rules and regulations
- Ability to follow the procedures, techniques, tools and processes appropriate to materials handling
- Good math skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Proficient in pulling and distributing of parts
