What You’ll Do As a material handler you’ll be part of our team located in Columbus, OH. You’ll get to: Stock or replenish finished goods, repair parts, sets, supplier catalog literature, supplies or returned product, in various storage areas within the Distribution Center Tab, sleeve, bag or label items prior to stocking Obtain needed product from bulk areas or transfer points using necessary portable handling equipment. Fill rush orders, including unique, hand-billed, and special orders by pulling the product, preparing and packing for shipment, and delivering it to the staging area for shipment. Monitor the quantity of items in stock locations to assure that stock is not depleted Maintain low lists, internal usage records, and stock status records. Work closely with the inventory control and the repair sections as necessary in coordinating the inventory of assigned area as required. Perform the necessary handling requirements of the job, routing equipment checks, re-charges and daily maintenance. Perform any duties deemed necessary by the Supervisor. You also have: High school diploma or GED Experience with WMS & AS400 picking operation and process. Comprehend and demonstrate compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and work instructions. Must be able to work with little direct supervision, self-starter attitude. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail and high level of quality orientation Able to adapt and prioritize work to support the flow of work through the Picking area. Must be flexible in job duties and be able to perform a variety of tasks upon request. Requirements
