EJ has an immediate opening for a Material Handler - Back up non-DOT truck driver for local deliveries. Location: Tavares, FL SUMMARY Supports and assists the sales function by performing the following duties.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Driver’s License

Responsibilities

Promotes the culture, the mission and vision, and the core values of the company. This includes adherence to and promotion of the company safety beliefs, employee engagement, competencies, code of conduct, and other policies and procedures.
Reads work orders or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials to be moved.
Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets and trucks by hand or forklift. Installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
Lifts heavy objects by hand or with forklift, and cleans work area, machines, and equipment.
Operates forklift to assist in loading/unloading or moving materials and products.
Works an 8-hour shift with 30 min. lunch break.
Back-up non-DOT truck driver for local deliveries.
Ability to read a tape measure and do basic math.
