Job Summary: The Material Handler is responsible for transacting and transporting materials, parts, and general production items throughout the campus as needed to facilitate the production process.

Requirements

Attention to detail, with the ability to follow precise instructions and procedures.
Ability to work independently, and under the pressure of deadlines.
Must be able to drive a Forklift (On site training available).
Must be able to drive a box truck (On site training available).
Must have a valid driver's license.
CDL not required.

Nice To Haves

2+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environments
Familiarity with inventory control processes (cycle counts, stock rotation, FIFO, etc.)
Basic computer skills (Excel, email, data entry)

Responsibilities

Pull, issue, count, and transfer stock to required department and/or building.
Work with Scheduling to transact parts/materials in a timely fashion to facilitate production.
Prepare work order packets and job boxes for newly released work orders.
Communicate with appropriate personnel as needed upon task completion.
Assist with maintaining accuracy of inventory.
Operating box truck on a daily schedule to meet production needs.
Work on the production floor as necessary to support manufacturing.
