PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: The Material Handler is responsible for receiving, storing, preparing, and distributing materials and products within our manufacturing facilities. SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES: Receive and unload incoming materials and products Verify the accuracy of incoming shipments and report any discrepancies Store materials and products in designated areas Pick and pack materials to support production builds Safely and accurately load outgoing shipments onto trucks or other transportation vehicles Secure racks and materials properly to prevent shifting or breakage Maintain inventory records and perform cycle counts as needed Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area Assist with additional production or warehouse duties as assigned EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED: Must have good vision, speech, hearing, and awareness of surroundings Prior experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment with forklift experience required Ability to safely operate material-handling equipment Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and up to 50 pounds of force frequently Perform activities such as bending, kneeling, reaching, standing, pushing, and climbing stairs and ladders Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions Ability to interpret work orders, labels, and measurements Specific vision abilities required by this job include the ability to differentiate between colors and shades of colors Experience with Microsoft Office products Good computer/data entry skills Ability to use logical or rational thinking to resolve issues Ability to work safely with limited supervision WORKING CONDITIONS: Work performed primarily in non-air conditioned environments Exposure to varying temperatures and weather conditions Exposure to moving equipment, sharp materials, and industrial noise Required use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) FAMILY PERKS: Generous tier pay structure. Requirements

  • Must have good vision, speech, hearing, and awareness of surroundings
