AIM: The aim of the material handler is to safely, efficiently and accurately receive inventory and supply production with supplies and inventory. DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES/EXPECTATIONS: Loading and unloading supplies, inventory and other shipments when needed Check incoming deliveries to make sure all ordered material meets quantity and quality standards Restocks and resupplies production areas Safely operate forklifts to move pallets and other large inventory items to specified locations Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies into stock locations. Conduct daily warehouse cycle counts Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders. Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering materials and supplies. Documents materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units. Assist in Loading and Unloading inventory, (motors, extrusion and other products when needed.) Assist team lead in preparing finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product. Documents serialized inventory when unloading trucks or staging for production. Maintains material-handling equipment, checks liquids in forklifts, notifies Maintenance when repairs are needed. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Maintains a safe clean work area. Rotate Motors (FIFO)
