Requirements

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • Ability to calculate parts requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to stand/walk for 8-9 consecutive hours.
  • Ability to read, write and record in quality and production records.
  • Ability to use hands to grasp, grip and manipulate boxes and product to inspect and pack
  • Ability to work with and around heavy machinery and equipment
  • Minimal lifting capabilities of 35 lbs.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three-months' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Move materials to and from storage areas to manufacturing areas
  • Identify and label materials, record location to ensure accurate inventory
  • Palletize and record finished goods and prepare for warehouse or shipping
  • Operate metal detector and conveyor system
  • Have the ability to plan ahead and stock printing production floor with materials to keep presses running
  • Operate electric pallet jack, manual pallet jack
  • Use the rail system and be able to update the computer to supply the presses with the correct molded stock
  • Housekeeping (sweep replenish area, keep underneath the rail clear, etc.)
  • Be able to read and understand the travelers to ensure that the correct molded product is supplied to the printing presses
  • Be able to communicate with the techs and group leader about molded product that is needed
  • Work with the QC on incorrectly labeled product or labels that do not read (scanners)
  • Other duties as assigned by shift supervisor or group leader
  • Must Know the Quality Policy and apply it to working practices
  • Must be able to work in a team environment and help others as needed
  • Must be able to lift and pull up to 35 Lbs.
  • Follow all safety rules, business ethics rules, GMP’s, HACCP Practices and Code of Respect
