About The Position

The Material Handler is responsible for locating and loading customer product onto/from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves, both by hand and using non-motorized equipment. Key duties include counting, weighing, and recording units of materials handled, as well as performing specialized order processing such as stenciling, shrink wrapping, labeling, and consolidating as required. The role also involves preparing trailers for loading by inspecting and cleaning them to ensure product preservation, and assisting with building and grounds maintenance, as well as physical inventories. Responsibilities

• Locates and loads by hand and with non-motorized equipment customer product onto/from pallets, trays racks and shelves
• Counts, weighs and records number of units of materials handled
• Completes specialized order processing for loading by stenciling, shrink wrapping, labeling and consolidating as required on order
• Prepares trailers prior to loading product by inspecting and cleaning as needed to ensure product preservation
• Assists in building and grounds maintenance
• Assists in physical inventories
