About The Position

Material Handler Summary of Job Responsible for loading/unloading trucks, put away product, and movement of product to and from the production floor. Ability to operate Fork/Clamp Trucks and enter data in the ERP system A/R. Adheres to company standards of safety and quality, while maintaining efficiency and timeliness. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Support, demonstrate and promote Pregis’ core values: integrity, collaboration, customer focus and innovation.Adheres to the highest standards of company safety programs, guidelines, rules, and regulations including all personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements. Housekeeping throughout assigned shift to ensure an orderly and safe environment. Physical and visual inspection of products is required to prevent non-conforming goods. Promptly reports all quality defects to the appropriate team members. Ability to operate Fork/Clamp Trucks. Ability to lift and stack product above shoulder height on warehouse/production floor and out bound trailers. Assists to maintain a safe, well organized, FIFO (first in, first out) controlled warehouse. Unloading and putting away incoming materials. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Ensure compliance with safety and work regulations including the use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow all safety rules. Attend meetings and complete safety training as required. Report all hazardous conditions to the Lead, Operations Supervisor, or Plant Manager immediately for corrective action. Report any accident, incident or near miss to the Team Lead, Supervisor, Manager or Plant Manager. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Occasional typing/keyboarding/preparing documents. Position Type Full time Overtime expected per business demand. Education and Experience High School diploma, GED or equivalent work experience required. Minimum 1 year warehouse experience preferred. PP#1
