About The Position

3M is seeking Material Handler 3rd shift (11:00PM - 7:30 AM) candidates for Rockland, MA. The person hired for this position in the Shipping, Receiving, and Warehouse department will serve the 3M manufacturing area as a Material Handler. This employee will operate in a team-based environment and serve these functions on a rotational basis, performing all area functional tasks. Requirements

  • Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
  • Ability to take and pass 3M elected testing as a part of the selection process (if required)
  • Legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status)

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum one (1) year of plant and/or manufacturing experience in a public, private, government, or military environment
  • Powered Industrial Vehicle license
  • Post-high school education
  • Basic computer knowledge

Responsibilities

  • Operate powered industrial vehicles such as fork trucks
  • Move material using pallet jacks
  • Receive incoming goods
  • Ship outgoing product
  • Perform all area functional tasks on a rotational basis within the Shipping, Receiving, and Warehouse department
  • Comply with corporate policies, procedures and security standards
  • Contribute to a strong Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) culture by following safety policies, identifying hazards, and engaging in continuous improvement
