About The Position

As a Material Handler at our New Castle location, you will play a vital role in the efficient handling, movement, and storage of materials within our warehouse. This position involves loading and unloading materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring all deliveries meet quality standards. You will join a collaborative team focused on operational efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year in material handling within a warehouse environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in a warehouse setting

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload materials from trucks, verifying accuracy and quality of products.
• Track and document the status of stock and inventory, ensuring accurate records of quantities and conditions of deliveries.
• Label products and organize them in appropriate storage locations.
• Conduct routine checks and maintenance on material handling equipment to ensure safety and optimal functionality.
• Support general warehouse duties, including floor maintenance and adherence to safety protocols.
• Work with team members to ensure smooth operations and compliance with safety and quality standards.
