Material Handlers are responsible for supplying raw materials to the production line, moving finished goods to warehouse storage locations, and removing waste materials from production.The hours for this position follow a 12‑hour rotating shift schedule. What isn’t great?• The factory is not climate‑controlled, so temperatures may vary.• You will be standing/walking on concrete in steel‑toed shoes for your entire shift.• We produce a hygiene product, so PPE is required: hair nets, safety glasses, safety shoes, high‑visibility vests or shirts, and beard nets, where applicable. (You wouldn’t want debris in your hygiene wipes, would you?)• The shifts make for long days (6:55 a.m.–7:10 p.m. and 6:55 p.m.–7:10 a.m.).• Rotating between day and night shifts can be challenging, but this schedule provides seven full days off in a row each cycle. What is a rotating schedule?In the example 28‑day cycle below, the shift works as follows:• Week 1: Sun-Mon - days, Tues-Wed - off & Thurs-Sat - nights• Week 2: Sun - nights Mon-Sat - off• Week 3: Mon–Sun-Tues - off, Wed-Thurs - nights, & Friday-Sat - off• Week 4: Sun-Wed - days, Thurs-Friday - off & Sat - nights
