About The Position

Essential Job Functions: Picking and receiving: In-process materials/completed parts. Replacement parts packing and processes and procedures. Operates all vehicles to schedule. Use of non-precision tools; cutting, sawing, and hammering. Routine maintenance for handling equipment. Loads and unloads trucks. Receiving vendor material activities. Call for trucks. Maintain departmental housekeeping and 5S standards. Ability to perform job functions in a safe manner. Ability to wear all Personal Protective Equipment (P.P.E.) required by Company Policy for the job being performed. Know and follow established job specific and facility wide safety and health procedures and rules. Actively participate in safety and health training and demonstrate competency based on training received. Bring safety and health issues, unsafe acts, and safety suggestions to management’s attention or correct those you can. Job Requirements/Working Conditions: High School Diploma or GED preferred. 2 - 4 years Material Handling experience. Must be able to pass Forklift Certification Test. Basic computer skills required. Ability to operate overhead cranes. Must be able to work individually and with others. Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. up to 100 feet. Normal shop working environment. Must be able and willing to work any shift and overtime.
