About The Position

In this function, you will: Operate a forklift to move raw materials, components, supplies & finished goods Load and unload trailers as required Organize pallet area in the backyard on regular basis (assist during backyard attendant absence) Organize material storage locations in backyard and inside the building on a regular basis Complete daily forklift inspection Primary owner for recycling duties for assigned area (i.e., emptying cardboard bins to the cardboard baler daily, operating cardboard baler, etc.) Troubleshoot and resolve problems as they arise. Keeps work areas clean and safe. Supports all facility Continuous Improvement and LEAN initiatives including, but not limited to:

Requirements

• A minimum 6 months of previous forklift or material handling experience in a manufacturing or logistics setting.
• Must possess a valid and current driver's license.
• No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of Reno, NV will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitations.
• A mimimum of 1 year of previous forklift or material handling experience in a manufacturing or logistics setting.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal format in English.
