Inside the Role This position is responsible for stocking and picking engine components and parts by way of the established remanufacturing process to then be sent to the engine assembly lines to complete the engine build process. We Take Care of Our Team This position offers: Starting pay of $19.55/hr. up to top pay of $27.59hr. What You Drive at DTNA Perform physically demanding manufacturing duties including: repetitive processes, moderate to heavy lifting, the use of machinery, and following standardized work procedures Actively participate in improving work area in terms of safety, quality, attendance, productivity, suggestion activities, housekeeping, and throughput Use computer systems to access company data associated with the assembly process, utilize drawings, bills of materials and specification sheets in both electronic and hard copy Ability to operate hand tools and small power tools in a safe and nondestructive manner. Stocking & picking parts Fulfilling parts carts for S60, MBE, MDEG, OCM’s, and HDEP engine builds Use of Navision for parts movement, data entry, and research location of parts and part numbers. Knowledge of computers, tablets, printers, and scanners. Willing to relocate to different plants, buildings, warehouses, etc. when needed. Operate hoist, hand tools, forklift, hand truck, and picker. Properly identify component parts by learning identification numbers Adhere to established work rotation plan Complete training matrix for each rotation position Ability to read and understand Work Station Instructions Other tasks and/or duties as requested
